Refund Policy
Effective date: October 23, 2026
On this page
This Refund Policy applies to paid Subscriptions to SignForge (the "Service") provided by OHSUNG SYSTEM CO., LTD. ("we", "us" or "our") and forms part of our Terms of Service. Matters not covered by this Policy are governed by the Terms of Service and applicable law. However, cancellation and refunds under an Education plan agreement (an Organization Agreement under Section 5-2 of the Terms of Service) are governed by that agreement.
1. Summary
- You can cancel your Subscription at any time and keep using it until the end of the current Billing Period you have already paid for.
- First payment (once per Account): for the first paid Subscription payment made on an Account, if you request a refund within 14 days of the payment date, we will refund it in full, whether or not you have used the Service. The first payment of a Subscription you start again after cancelling is not covered.
- Annual Subscription renewal payments: each time a renewal is charged, if you request a refund within 14 days of the renewal date, we will refund it in full, whether or not you have used the Service.
- Monthly Subscription renewal payments: generally not eligible for a refund. Exceptions apply where a refund is made under applicable law (such as withdrawal by consumers in the Republic of Korea under Section 11), and you can cancel at any time before your next renewal.
- Consumers in the Republic of Korea: you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 7 days of the date of each payment, whether it is a first payment or a renewal payment and whether the Subscription is monthly or annual, and you will receive a full refund if you do so (see Section 11).
- Plan changes: you cannot switch directly to a different Plan or billing cycle during your Subscription; you need to cancel and start a new Subscription. The payment for the new Subscription is the first payment of a Subscription started again after cancelling, so it is not eligible for the first-payment refund in Section 5 (withdrawal by consumers in the Republic of Korea under Section 11 still applies; see Section 5).
- Refund and withdrawal periods are counted from the day after the payment date (or, for a renewal payment, the renewal date), and a request made by 24:00 Korea Standard Time (KST, UTC+9) on the last day of the period is treated as made within the period. Where applicable law calculates the period in a way more favorable to you, that calculation applies.
- Once a refund of a first payment or an annual renewal payment under this Policy, or a refund resulting from withdrawal by a consumer in the Republic of Korea, is completed, the Subscription ends immediately and you will no longer have access to paid features. If the free trial provided at sign-up has not yet ended, the trial continues for the rest of its period regardless of the refund.
- If a payment is refunded in full in a case not set out in this Policy (for example, a refund we approve after a case-by-case review), you will no longer have access to the Subscription's paid features from the time of the refund, and the Subscription will end at the end of that Billing Period, so no further renewal payment will be made. This does not apply to refunds of duplicate charges or billing errors (see Section 7; the Subscription continues).
- Duplicate charges and billing errors: we refund the amount charged in error regardless of how much time has passed, and your Subscription continues (see Section 7).
- Payments you did not make, such as those made with a stolen payment method: we refund them regardless of how much time has passed, and any Subscription started or renewed by such a payment ends immediately and access to paid features ends (see Section 7).
- Otherwise, we do not provide prorated refunds for the remaining period after cancellation.
- Refunds are made by us as the seller and returned through PayPal to your original payment method (see Section 10).
- If more than one rule applies to a payment, the rule more favorable to you applies, and where applicable law gives you more favorable rights, those rights take precedence over this Policy.
2. Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancelling and getting a refund are separate processes.
| Cancellation | Refund | |
|---|---|---|
| What it means | Stops future renewal payments | Returns money you have already paid |
| When | At any time | In the cases set out in this Policy (such as within 14 days of your first payment, within 14 days of an annual renewal payment, or within 7 days of any payment for consumers in the Republic of Korea) |
| How | The subscription management menu on your account page in the Service, or cancelling your Automatic Payments in the automatic payments settings of your PayPal account | Request by emailing us (global@ohsungsys.com) |
| Access to the Service | Continues until the end of the current Billing Period | Refunds under Section 5, 6 or 11, and refunds of payments you did not make under Section 7: once the refund is completed, the Subscription ends immediately and access to paid features ends. Refunds of duplicate charges and billing errors under Section 7: only the amount charged in error is returned, and the Subscription continues |
| Money already paid | Not returned (no prorated refunds) | The eligible amount is returned |
Cancelling alone does not trigger a refund. If you want a refund, please request it separately as described in Section 9.
3. Scope
Currently, all paid Subscriptions are sold by us as the seller, and payments and refunds are processed through PayPal as our payment processor. PayPal payments are charged in Japanese yen (JPY) or US dollars (USD), and PayPal payment is not offered in the Republic of Korea. The following rules apply depending on who you are:
| Who | Applicable rules |
|---|---|
| All users | This Policy (Sections 4–10) |
| Consumers in the Republic of Korea (consumers whose Billing Country is the Republic of Korea) | In addition to the above, the 7-day right of withdrawal in Section 11 |
- "Billing Country" means the payer's country when you pay (such as the country of the address registered in the PayPal account you pay with) or, for a renewal payment, the payer's country applied to that payment (Section 2(4) of our Terms of Service).
- In addition to this Policy, PayPal's policies, such as its user agreement and buyer protection, may also apply to payments made through PayPal. For dispute procedures under PayPal's policies, see Section 9.
- Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you have under applicable law. Where the laws of your country of residence or other applicable laws give you more favorable rights (such as a statutory right of withdrawal), those rights take precedence. Consumers in the EU, the United Kingdom and certain other countries or regions may also have a withdrawal period under applicable law that applies separately from this Policy, and this Policy does not limit those rights.
- If we add domestic Korean payment methods in the future, we will amend this Policy and let you know.
4. Cancelling Your Subscription
- You can cancel your Subscription at any time.
- How to cancel: either of the following:
- from the subscription management menu on your account page in the Service, after logging in; or
- by cancelling your Automatic Payments for the Service in the automatic payments settings of your PayPal account.
- Once you cancel, no further renewal payments will be made. You can keep using the Service until the end of the current Billing Period you have already paid for, after which your Subscription ends.
- If you cancel your Automatic Payments in PayPal, no further payments will be charged either, and you can continue to use paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not provide prorated refunds for the remaining period after cancellation, except as described in Section 5, 6, 7 or 11 or where required by applicable law.
- If you do not want to be charged for the next renewal, please cancel before your next billing date.
5. Refunds Within 14 Days of Your First Payment (Once per Account)
- Once per Account, if you request a refund within 14 days of the date of the first paid Subscription payment made on that Account, we will refund that payment in full, whether or not you have used the Service. This applies to both monthly and annual Subscriptions.
- The first payment of a Subscription you start again after cancelling is not eligible for a refund under this Section. However, the 7-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the Republic of Korea under Section 11 still applies in that case.
- Once a refund under this Section is completed, the Subscription ends immediately and you will no longer have access to paid Plan features.
- Renewal payments are covered by Section 6.
- The first payment of a new Subscription that you start after cancelling in order to change your Plan or billing cycle is also the first payment of a Subscription started again after cancelling, so it is not eligible for a refund under this Section (see Section 14 of our Terms of Service). However, the 7-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the Republic of Korea under Section 11 still applies in that case.
6. Renewal Payments
- Annual Subscriptions (applies each time a renewal is charged): if you request a refund within 14 days of the date the renewal payment was made (the renewal date), we will refund that renewal payment in full, whether or not you have used the Service. Once the refund is completed, the Subscription ends immediately and you will no longer have access to paid Plan features.
- Monthly Subscriptions: renewal payments are generally not eligible for a refund. Exceptions apply where a refund is made under applicable law (such as withdrawal by consumers in the Republic of Korea under Section 11). If you do not want the next renewal, you can cancel at any time before your next renewal date (Section 4).
- The laws of some countries grant a separate withdrawal period for renewal payments; in those cases, we follow those laws.
- We may also review other refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If a payment is refunded in full in this way, you will no longer have access to the Subscription's paid features from the time of the refund, and the Subscription will end at the end of that Billing Period with no further renewal payment (except for refunds of duplicate charges or billing errors under Section 7).
7. Refunds Regardless of Timing
In the following cases, after confirming the facts, we will refund the relevant amount regardless of how much time has passed since the payment date:
- the same payment was charged more than once (duplicate charge);
- there was a billing error, such as being charged an amount different from the price shown to you; or
- the payment was not made by you, for example because your payment method was used without authorization.
Because a refund of a duplicate charge or billing error only returns the amount charged in error, your Subscription does not end and continues as before. If we refund a payment you did not make, any Subscription started or renewed by that payment ends immediately and you will no longer have access to paid features.
In addition, if we discontinue the entire Service for business reasons, we will refund the portion of any prepaid Subscription fees that corresponds to the remaining period after the discontinuation date.
8. When Refunds May Be Limited
Except where required by applicable law, refunds may be limited in the following cases:
- requests for prorated refunds of the remaining period after cancellation (see Section 4);
- requests for refunds of monthly Subscription renewal payments (see Section 6);
- where your use of the Service has been restricted or your agreement terminated because of a breach of the Terms of Service;
- where there are grounds to believe the refund request is fraudulent or abuses the refund process (for example, repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds); or
- payments that have already been refunded or are subject to a pending PayPal dispute or a pending chargeback with your card issuer or other provider.
This Section does not limit withdrawal by consumers in the Republic of Korea under Section 11.
9. How to Request a Refund
Please request refunds from us, as the seller. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal under Section 11 in the same way.
Email global@ohsungsys.com with the following information. We will respond within 2 business days (weekdays, excluding public holidays in Korea) and process the refund through PayPal.
- the email address of your Account
- the payment date and the PayPal transaction ID (shown in PayPal's payment notification email or in the transaction history of your PayPal account)
- the reason for the refund (optional)
Whether you requested the refund within the refund period is determined by the date we first receive your request.
PayPal disputes and chargebacks: You may use PayPal's dispute resolution process within the time limits and under the procedures set by PayPal, or request a chargeback from your card issuer. Contacting us first may help resolve your request more quickly. If a PayPal dispute or chargeback is raised, we may submit payment records, records of the Service provided and other necessary materials under PayPal's procedures. If a payment is reversed or returned to you through a PayPal dispute or chargeback, we will review the case individually and decide whether to restrict access to the Subscription's paid features or cancel the Subscription.
10. Refund Processing
- Once a refund is approved, we will refund it through PayPal to your original payment method (your PayPal balance, or a card or bank account registered with PayPal) within 3 business days of approval. However, refunds resulting from the exercise of a statutory right of withdrawal are made within the time limit set by the applicable law.
- When the refunded amount actually appears may vary depending on PayPal and your card issuer, bank or other payment provider.
- Due to exchange rates or fees applied by PayPal, your card issuer or your bank, the amount shown on your statement may differ from the amount at the time of payment.
11. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers in the Republic of Korea
- Consumers in the Republic of Korea (consumers whose Billing Country is the Republic of Korea) may exercise their right of withdrawal within 7 days of the date of each payment, whether it is a first payment or a renewal payment and whether the Subscription is monthly or annual, and will receive a full refund of that payment if they do so.
- Once a refund resulting from withdrawal is completed, the Subscription ends immediately and you will no longer have access to paid Plan features. If the free trial provided at sign-up has not yet ended, the trial continues for the rest of its period regardless of the refund.
- This 7-day right of withdrawal applies together with the 14-day refund in Section 5 and the 14-day refund in Section 6, and whichever is more favorable to you applies. For example, for the first payment on an Account and for annual renewal payments, the 14 days under this Policy is longer than the statutory 7 days, so a consumer in the Republic of Korea may request a refund within 14 days; and for monthly renewal payments, or the first payment of a Subscription that a consumer in the Republic of Korea starts again after cancelling, which are not eligible for a refund under Section 5 or 6, the consumer may still exercise the right of withdrawal under this Section within 7 days of the payment date.
- Where applicable law gives you more favorable rights, those rights take precedence. This also applies where applicable law grants you a right of withdrawal even though your Billing Country is not the Republic of Korea.
12. Changes to This Policy
- We may amend this Policy in accordance with the procedure in Section 3 of our Terms of Service.
- An amended Policy applies to payments made on or after its effective date, and payments made before that date remain subject to the previous Policy. However, if the amended Policy is more favorable to you, the amended Policy applies.
